When La Grange Park police officers are on patrol, they oftentimes encounter conditions at residents’ homes that make those locations vulnerable targets for criminals.

The La Grange Park Police Department, in cooperation with the United States Department of Justice, hosts a Prescription Drug Disposal Box in the main lobby of the Village Hall.

The La Grange Park Police Department provides free non-criminal fingerprinting services for residents and local business owners.

School Crossing Guard Program

The La Grange Park Police Department hosts an active School Crossing Guard program that employs eight permanent and substitute guards throughout the Village.

Vacation Watch Program

Residents who will be away from their homes due to vacations or other circumstances may request that Police officers conduct periodic external checks of their residences while they are away.
