Responsibilities
Training oversees all aspects of fire and rescue training. This includes ensuring personnel are proficient in tasks and skills necessary for mitigating fires, various other hazards, and completing rescues. Training is also responsible for scheduling and providing training along with all related record keeping for our personnel to maintain training and specialty certifications. Such records are critical to satisfying requirements of the Office of the Illinois State Fire Marshall, OSHA, and other agencies.
