Jose Nieto joined the Village of La Grange Park in January 2026 as the Director of Building & Inspectional Services, bringing extensive experience in municipal plan review, permitting, and field inspection. Most recently, he served as a Community Development Inspector II and Plan Reviewer for the Village of Addison, where he conducted plan reviews, issued building permits, and performed construction inspections across residential, commercial and industrial projects.
His background includes more than two decades in architectural design and construction management. Jose has held senior roles with Sevan Multi-Site Solutions, Coldwell Banker, and McDonald’s USA, managing large design programs and guiding construction processes. He began his career in residential construction and previously served in the United States Navy.
Jose holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architectural Studies from the University of Illinois at Chicago and maintains multiple International Code Council (ICC) certifications. His blend of technical expertise, leadership and commitment to service support the Village’s focus on safety, transparency, and high-quality community engagement, and he looks forward to helping La Grange Park residents find solutions that meet their needs. Outside of work, Jose enjoys traveling and spending time with his family.
