Construction Updates - Week Ending June 7, 2024
Edgewood/Richmond Water Main Replacement Project:
The Village selected the low bidder, Unique Plumbing of Brookfield, as the contractor for the water main replacement project along Edgewood from Ogden to Woodlawn and Richmond from Park to Edgewood. The new water main will go under the east side (Edgewood) and the south (Richmond) sidewalks, which include new valves, fire hydrants, and 1½” water service from the main to the boxes.
June 7, 2024 Update:
Unique completed the initial connection to the existing water main at Ogden Ave and installed approximately 500 feet of the new water main. It hopes to complete the installation in the 300 blocks by the end of next week and potentially make it across the intersection proceeding west along Richmond towards Nazareth Academy.
