Edgewood/Richmond Water Main Replacement Project:
The Village selected the low bidder, Unique Plumbing of Brookfield, as the contractor for the water main replacement project along Edgewood from Ogden to Woodlawn and Richmond from Park to Edgewood. The new water main will go under the east side (Edgewood) and the south (Richmond) sidewalks, which include new valves, fire hydrants, and 1½” water service from the main to the boxes.
Construction activities for this project will begin begin Tuesday May 28th. The affected areas will be the 300 & 400 blocks of Edgewood Ave. and Richmond between Edgewood Ave. and Park Rd. Please use caution when traveling through these areas or use alternate routes to avoid them completely. We anticipate the project to last until early fall for full completion.
