Business Development Districts (BDDs) are a public financing tool, used to promote redevelopment, invest in public infrastructure, and fund other community-improvement projects. As part of the Village's Board’s long-term strategy to maintain and enhance the Village’s revenue base, the Village Board established four BDDs in the Village in March 2017, which went into effect on July 1st.

How to Request Funding
Property owners, businesses and prospective tenants interested in applying for BDD funding are encouraged to review the Village's BDD Policies and Procedures (PDF) and complete an Application (PDF). Questions regarding BDD funding opportunities may be directed to the Administration Department.
