In 2013, the Cool Village Commission changed its name to the Sustainability Commission in an effort to make its mission clearer to the public. The Sustainability Commission sponsors an annual electronics recycling event in October and facilitates a used cooling oil recycling event in November. In prior years, they hosted Prescription Drug Take back Days.
