Tax Increment Financing
Tax increment financing (TIF) is a public financing tool, which is used to promote redevelopment, invest in public infrastructure, and fund other community-improvement projects. As part of the Village's Board  long-term strategy to maintain and enhance the Village’s revenue base, the Village Board established two Tax Increment Financing Districts in the Village in January 2017. For more information on TIF's, the process the Village undertook and next steps, please click through the links below.

Questions regarding Tax Increment Financing may be directed to the Assistant Village Manager, Emily Rodman at erodman@lagrangepark.org or (708) 354-0225, ext. 108.

How to Request TIF Funding
Property owners, businesses and prospective tenants interested in applying for TIF funding are encouraged to review the Village's TIF Policies and Procedures and to complete an Application for TIF District Funding. Questions regarding TIF funding opportunities may be directed to the Village Manager's Office at (708) 354-0225.
