Construction Updates - Week Ending March 11, 2022
Permeable Pavement/Green Infrastructure Intersections: The Village's consultant, Copenhaver Construction, will begin work on the green infrastructure intersections project on March 28th. The intersections at Monroe and Community and Sherwood will be constructed first, followed by the intersection at Monroe and Robinhood. The consultant anticipates completing the project by April 30th. Residents affected by this work will be notified by the Village next week. The project involves installing new water mains under the intersections, excavating two feet of soil, installing underdrains, backfilling with crushed stone, replacing all concrete curbs and sidewalks, and installing pavers.
