On Tuesday, April 27, 2021, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released new guidelines regarding when face coverings would be required. Those updated guidelines are available on the CDC’s website via this link. The guidelines allow fully vaccinated people to participate in various outdoor activities without wearing face coverings and other indoor activities while wearing a mask without social distancing. The Governor’s EO 2021-09 modifies the state’s current face covering requirements under Phase 4 to bring them in line with the CDC guidelines.
