Connect & Engage

The Village strongly believes that informed and engaged residents contribute to a vibrant and dynamic community. We encourage residents to learn more about the Village, the services we offer and how to get involved in a capacity that suites your lifestyle.

Register for Alerts / E-Briefs

For emergency updates, register for CodeRED and for more general communication from the Village register for our weekly Village E-briefs and/or Public Safety Briefs. These electronic newsletters are typically emailed on Fridays. E-Briefs includes vital information on Village initiatives, as well as information on upcoming events from our local library, park district and other community organizations. Public Safety Briefs provides timely information on criminal activity occurring within the Village or its vicinity and important tips on keeping your family and your property safe.

Read Your Resident Newsletter

Information about important Villages news is provided quarterly to residents via the Rose Clippings newsletter. The newsletter is issued in January, April, July and October and is mailed to all 5,400 households in our community. Each quarterly edition of The Rose Clippings contains important information about Village services, infrastructure projects, new business openings and much more.

Volunteer With the Village

Resident engagement and participation are vital to the delivery of top quality public service. Residents are encouraged to participate on various boards, commissions, committees and task forces relevant to Village issues. These boards and commissions provide leadership, establish policies and oversee budgets while working hard to ensure an open and responsive government.
