LTACC 911 Center

 Tornado Siren Review

On the evening of June 20, 2021, the threat of severe weather resulted in a Tornado Warning for the area from the National Weather Service (NWS).  The Lyons Township Area Communications Center (LTACC) did not initiate the alert system for those communities for which LTACC controls siren activation. LTACC conducted a review to determine why the sirens did not sound. LTACC is confident that the siren activation policy will be effectively applied going forward. Please see the LTACC statement at the link here.

The Lyons Township Area Communication Center (LTACC) is a consolidated dispatch center that opened on March 20, 2017.  LTACC serves  the villages of La Grange, La Grange Park, Western Springs and Countryside.  LTACC is staffed by dispatchers who provide high-quality, professional service to the members of our collective communities. LTACC is housed at the La Grange Police Department:

304 W Burlington Avenue
La Grange, IL 60525

All 911 emergency calls are routed directly to LTACC Dispatchers who initiate appropriate emergency responses and services. For non-emergency issues requiring a police response, please dial 708-352-2059. Otherwise, dial 911 for immediate emergency response.
